A 47-year-old man suffered minor injuries after being struck in the face with an unknown object during a late-night assault in Flushing, according to police.
The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. on April 11 near the corner of Kissena Boulevard and Main Street within the confines of the New York City Police Department’s 109th Precinct.
Police said the victim was standing on the corner when another man approached and the two became involved in a dispute. During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly hit the victim in the face with an unidentified object before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
Emergency medical personnel treated the victim at the scene for minor injuries.
The suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion and an afro hairstyle. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.
